Water Turbines

Counter-rotating water turbines — two blade sets spinning in opposite directions on the same axis, with magnets and generator coils between the rotating elements. Applying the same principle as the wind turbine concept, doubling relative rotational speed maximises energy extraction from flowing or falling water.
