Where It All Began
£20 at a car boot fair.
It started with a secondhand fish tank picked up for £20 at a car boot sale — a small act of curiosity that grew into something far bigger. From those first tentative experiments in a back room, it became a journey of living laboratories, unconventional research, and a deep belief that food-producing ecosystems could be beautiful, accessible, and transformative.
That journey eventually led to displaying at some of the world's most famous garden shows — and now, to building this open platform with you.
